Corra Caps Eventful April With Awards, Recognition and Re-Brand

Firmly Establishes Company as a Top Magento Partner

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - May 6, 2013) - Corra, a leading provider of eCommerce and multi-channel commerce solutions, capped one of its most successful months in company history in April. With a number of significant milestones and achievements, Corra cemented its position as one of Magento's top global partners and a recognized leader in designing, developing and supporting world-class eCommerce sites.

Corra began the month by introducing a new brand identity which included a new logo, a new website and the re-naming of the company from CorraTech to simply, Corra. These changes represent the superior service and advanced capabilities that the company brings to every facet of its work on behalf of online and multi-channel merchants looking to grow large eCommerce businesses.

Shortly after unveiling its new brand, the company headed to Las Vegas for the 2013 Magento Imagine eCommerce Conference where they were a Diamond Sponsor. For the second year in a row, Corra was honored with the 2012 Magento Partner Excellence Award. The Magento Partner Excellence Award is an annual recognition of partners who have delivered exemplary service to clients running the platform. Only four firms in the US received the coveted award this year.

"Between the new brand and our second straight Partner Excellence Award, we've reached many of the goals that we've been working toward over the past year," said Ron Bongo, CEO of Corra. "Both of these milestones lay a great foundation for the rest of 2013 and we look forward to building off of them and continuing to offer our clients best-in-class service and innovative, custom eCommerce solutions."

The Imagine Conference was also marked by an outpouring of support and recognition from other attendees and guests. Most notably, John Donahoe, President and CEO of eBay, called out Corra during his keynote address as an example of a company that has achieved tremendous success in partnering with Magento. He pointed out that in the last four years, Corra has grown from 15 to 75 employees and increased its billing by 400 percent. "That is cool!" he said. "That is why we exist. That is what it's all about!"

Corra also received kudos from two of its clients during main-stage presentations. Nancy Shalek, CEO of Lovesac, was called up to the stage to discuss her company's journey from a retail-only brick-and-mortar operation to a thriving multi-channel merchant with online and mobile solutions built on Magento. And during a panel discussion featuring merchants with innovative business models led by Magento's Head of Marketing Craig Peasley, Chris Fenwick, eCommerce manager at Ten Thousand Villages, praised Corra for its assistance in helping to create their eCommerce sites.

"Last year we were nominated for the most innovative site of the year by Magento," said Fenwick. "It takes a village to achieve that kind of success and we couldn't have done it without the team at Corra. It only seemed right that I recognized their efforts this year at Imagine when I had the chance to get up on stage to talk about our mutual accomplishments."

Corra demonstrated its expertise at the show by hosting the lead-off Business Track breakout session, titled "Growing Strong: How Start-Ups and SMBs Grow With Magento Enterprise." Moderated by Michael Harvey, COO of Corra, the session featured a panel of SMB executives who have successfully implemented Magento Enterprise.

Of course, the show wouldn't have been complete without making some time for Fun. Corra hosted the highly anticipated Pre-Imagine Kickoff Party, which quickly filled to capacity and got the entire conference off to a great start. Show attendees were also invited to play a highly successful game of roulette at the Corra booth, with prizes ranging from gift cards to a coveted MacBook Air.
