Lisa-Marie Draganiuk is B.C.'s latest multi-millionaire after winning $12.5 million on the June 5 Lotto Max draw. Her ticket is one of four winners from across the country in the $50 million Lotto Max draw, each entitled to $12.5 million.

The 33-year-old dental hygienist says the big win continues to feel surreal for herself and her husband.

"I was on my way home from work yesterday after getting groceries when I checked my ticket, recalled Draganiuk. "My reaction was complete delirium! I called my husband right away in shock. People were crowding around me and they all knew I was a big winner."

The Delta resident says this win changes everything, "We can live the life we aspire to live and raise our family comfortably," said a grateful Dragniuk.

Draganiuk's face lit up when asked who the first person, aside from her husband, she would share this amazing news with.

"The first person I'm going to tell is my mom when I pick her up from work - from a job she never has to go back to," exclaimed Draganiuk. "She has done so much for me and I'm really looking forward to returning the favour."

As for the winnings, Draganiuk says her family will soon be house hunting.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart in Delta, B.C.

A total of 50 Maxmillions prizes were also up for grabs in the June 5 Lotto Max draw with two winning tickets sold in B.C. - one from Kamloops and the other through PlayNow.com, each winning a share of a Maxmillions prize.
