VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2010) - A correction from source is being issued with respect to the release sent out at 2:17 PM ET. The corrected version follows.

The Honourable Gary Lunn, Minister of State (Sport), will take part in a media briefing tomorrow, concerning the Own the Podium program.

Joining Minister of State Lunn will be representatives of various partner groups with an interest in amateur sport and its development, including Roger Jackson, CEO of Own the Podium; Chris Rudge, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee and Chair of Own the Podium; Carla Qualtrough, President of the Canadian Paralympic Committee; as well as representatives from VANOC and Sport Canada.
