CORRECTION FROM SOURCE: Media Opportunity for Arrival of Nato Military Committee

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 5, 2007) - NATO's Military Committee arrives in Ottawa Thursday for a four-day visit to Canada. After an overnight stop in Ottawa, the committee will fly to Victoria, B.C., on Friday for a series of meetings and interactive seminars.

General Rick Hillier, Canada's Chief of the Defence Staff, will welcome the Chairman of the Military Committee, General Ray Henault, and NATO's 25 other chiefs of defence upon their arrival in Ottawa on 06 September



Media are invited to cover the welcome ceremony and short media
availability with the Chairman. The details are as follows:

Date: Thursday, Sept. 6th 2007
Time: 12 - 1:20 p.m.
Location: Canada Reception Centre, Ottawa Airport, Hangar 11, Convair
Pvt (intersection of Hunt Club & Canadair Pvt)


A 50-person honour guard will be inspected by the Chairman. The Canadian Forces Central Band will perform and there will be a CF Snowbird fly pass.

Following the ceremony, the Chairman will hold a media availability from 1:05 -1:20 p.m.

Media must arrive no later than 11:30 a.m. to allow time for registration and equipment setup and will be required to show their media credentials or Press Gallery accreditation. The media registration desk will be at the entrance to Hangar 11. (parking lot E2) Media planning to attend only for the media availability with General Henault, must arrive no later than 12:45 p.m.
