CORRECTION FROM SOURCE-REMINDER/Media Advisory: Minister Oliver to Discuss Benefits of Keystone XL

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 5, 2014) -

This document corrects and replaces the media advisory that was sent as a reminder today at 6:00 a.m. EST. The error occurred in the first paragraph where it should have read "The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, will tour the pipe yard for TransCanada's Houston Lateral Project today." The complete and corrected version follows.

The Honourable Joe Oliver, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, will tour the pipe yard for TransCanada's Houston Lateral Project today. The Houston Lateral Project, which will transport oil to Houston refineries, will become an integrated component of the Keystone Pipeline system. The Minister will be joined by the Honourable Diana McQueen, Alberta's Minister of Energy and Russ Girling, President and CEO of TransCanada Corporation.

A media availability and photo opportunity with the Minister will follow the tour. A mandatory safety briefing will be required to enter the facility. Closed-toe shoes are required. Photo identification will be required.
