The Correctional Service of Canada: End Of Lockdown and Search at Drumheller Institution

DRUMHELLER, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 22, 2012) - The lockdown and search at Drumheller Institution initiated on October 16, 2012 has concluded. The institution has returned to normal operations.

Visits to the institution have been reinstated.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is committed to preventing contraband from entering its institutions. Our efforts contribute towards ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and inmates.

CSC also works in partnership with the police to take action against those who attempt to have contraband brought into correctional institutions.
