Costco Wholesale Corporation Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend

ISSAQUAH, WA--(Marketwire - Oct 25, 2011) - Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: COST) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on Costco Wholesale common stock. The dividend of $.24 per share is payable November 25, 2011, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 11, 2011.

Costco currently operates 594 warehouses, including 431 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 82 in Canada, 32 in Mexico, 22 in the United Kingdom, nine in Japan, eight in Taiwan, seven in Korea and three in Australia. The Company also operates Costco Online, an electronic commerce web site, at www.costco.com and at www.costco.ca in Canada. The Company plans to open up to four additional warehouses prior to the end of calendar year 2011.
