Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. Adds Contract Negotiators

RICHMOND, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 28, 2006 -- Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CWRN) has appointed Mrs. Jinglan Cai Brinzer, B.E. and Alain K. Lee to join Robert L. Cotton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. on the Company's year 2007 contracts negotiating team. Mrs. Brinzer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CAI Mineral Group, LLC, and former metallurgical engineer at Wuhan Iron and Steel Company (WISCO). Mr. Alain K. Lee in Hong Kong has worked with Mr. Cotton for the past fifteen years as lead China liaison. The Company is currently in negotiations with several Chinese Steel Mills and has tentatively set a target date of January 15, 2007 for completion of its year 2007 iron ore off-take agreements. In addition to the iron mineral sales, Mr. Lee will head up the Mindoro Jade trading division with primary emphasis on establishing a direct sales office in Zhenping Prefecture of Henan Province, China. Henan Province is the Jade capital of China where approximately 1,000 state owned, co-op and privately owned Jade factories are in operation, producing jewelry, carvings, inlays and table tops. Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. holds one of the world's largest Jade deposits on Mindoro Island, the Philippines. Mindoro Jade is in strong demand for its rich colors and is one of the principle Jades used for Chinese carvings. Current market pricing for Mindoro Jade is $1,000.00 per metric ton. The Company will begin its Jade excavation in the second quarter of year 2007. Heavy Haul access road construction from Wawa on the north shore of Mindoro Island to the Nagsabongan Iron Deposit is scheduled to start on January 15, 2007, and the access road to the jade deposits shortly thereafter, which will run approximately 7 kilometers from Nagsabongan.
