Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. -- CWRM Updates EPM 3D Survey in Baja California, Mexico

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - March 10, 2008) - Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CWRM) -- Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. announced today that it has began the first phase Electromagnetic Potential Measurement (EPM) and Magnetic Measurement Survey using the GeoSurveyor 3-D Software to produce color underground 3-D mapping images of the Baja Pacific No. 8 magnetite seams. To date approximately 7,000 meters of magnetite seams have been discovered on the Baja Pacific No. 8 mining lot.

The survey works for Baja Pacific No. 8 will consist of the EPM survey work that is now underway together with a Cesium Magnetometer survey to be conducted upon completion of the EPM work. CWRM management has given a verbal commitment to EDCON-PRJ, Inc. of Denver, Colorado, to undertake the deep magnetometer survey interpretation and mapping and the possible contracting to EDCON-PRJ to conduct a Gravity Survey. This will be determined upon the completion of all magnetic survey work. The survey work to be conducted at the Baja Pacific No. 8 is not the standard magnetic survey; this is because the magnetite columns of iron were formed as "Magna Up-lifts" and it has been reported by local geologists that some of the Baja seams run several kilometers deep into the earth, even reaching the host rock of the basement.

The Management of CWRM as well as the company's potential investment partners is very excited about the Baja Pacific No. 8 magnetite iron deposit; so much so, that it has been decided that the No 8 mining lot will be the first choice to begin the iron mining operations. This will cause some delay in the start-up as the No. 8 was just recently discovered and it is anticipated that it will take approximately sixty to ninety days to complete all the survey and testing works for the project.

Photographs taken of outcrops along side and inside the massive magnetite seams may be viewed at the company's website photo gallery Baja Pacific No. 8;, the company will be posting underground 3-D color images of the iron magnetite deposits on its website in the near future.

CWRM has a backlog of inquires for off-take agreements for the export of iron minerals primarily from Chinese, Japanese and Korean Steel Mills.
