Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. to Distribute Stock Dividend

RICHMOND, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 13, 2006 -- Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CWRN), a global iron ore mining company, in observance of the finalization of its first major sales contract, once again announces that the Company's Board of Directors has elected to issue shareholders a stock dividend.

At a meeting held by the Board of Directors on May 17, 2006 the Board elected to issue a 3% stock dividend to shareholders due to the recent signing of a contract for sale of 75,000 dry metric tons of Iron Ore to Wah Seong China Limited, valued at $2,850,000.00. All Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. shareholders of record at close of business on June 16, 2006 will receive a 3% restricted stock dividend. The stock dividend will be distributed on June 23, 2006.
