Cougar Mountain Software Launches New Support Services

Services Include On-Site Installation, Priority Phone Support and a Wellness Program

BOISE, ID -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 1, 2006 -- Cougar Mountain Software, publisher of accounting software for small to mid-sized organizations, announces the launch of three new services to make it even easier for businesses to implement and maintain Cougar Mountain Software products.

"Most of our mid-sized business customers don't have a full-time IT staff person to do these kinds of tasks," says Cary Welsh, Chief Operating Officer. "By offering these services to our customers, they save money and the hassle of finding an IT consultant. Our goal is to take the worry out of setting up and maintaining their accounting infrastructure."

The three services include:

--  On-site Installation -- provides installation of customer equipment,
    such as computer networks and cable, servers, workstations, as well as
    point of sale equipment like cash registers, card readers, scanners and
    printers.
--  The Wellness Support Program -- provides troubleshooting, guidance,
    and telephone assistance on a quarterly basis to help facilitate smooth and
    productive operation of Cougar Mountain software solutions. Once each
    quarter, Cougar Mountain Software will perform a one-hour evaluation to
    analyze and enhance hardware and software functionality for optimal
    performance. Services include the clean-up of temporary folders, checking
    for viruses and spyware, checking for critical software updates, re-
    indexing files, as well as providing consultation for year-end closing and
    setting up back-ups.
--  Priority Phone Support -- provides immediate access to dependable,
    expert advice for time-critical production issues. Customers with Priority
    Phone Support can access Cougar Mountain's telephone support team 12 hours
    a day, Monday through Friday, and receive a fast response to critical
    problems from the next available Senior-Level Support Specialist. Customers
    also have 24-hour access to Cougar Mountain Software's Customer Service
    Center, a comprehensive online web support resource, which provides
    extensive product and support information and online account and case
    management.
