CounterPath Announces Contract with eircom

Ireland's largest telecom operator to deploy CounterPath Bria softphones to provide unmatched user experience for call center staff and management

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jan. 28, 2015) - CounterPath Corporation (NASDAQ:CPAH)(TSX:CCV), a developer of award-winning over-the-top (OTT) Unified Communications solutions for enterprises and operators, today announced that eircom, the largest integrated telecommunications operator in Ireland, has selected CounterPath´s Bria desktop softphone for deployment in its Customer Service call center.

eircom will be replacing conventional IP Handsets with CounterPath's Bria softphone within its Customer Care call centers and will initially deploy close to 2,000 branded desktop softphone clients in order to provide a more tightly integrated and enhanced user experience for eircom's Customer Care staff. eircom will also be deploying CounterPath's Stretto Platform™ solution to encompass client provisioning and user management.
