Country Music Newcomer Natalie Stovall Performs at 93rd Annual White House Correspondence Dinner

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 27, 2007 -- A native of Columbia, TN, and a child performer in the Opryland Kid's Club, country music newcomer Natalie Stovall had the opportunity to perform on such television programs as the "Oprah Winfrey Show," "Nashville Now," "Crook and Chase" and the "Grand Ole Opry." Since then, Stovall has come a long way and developed in to the wonderful singer/songwriter that she is today.

Stovall has now achieved yet another milestone in her young career. She was invited to perform at the 93rd Annual White House Press Correspondent's Dinner where she had the honor of performing for the President and Mrs. Bush along with other distinguished guests. This was the first time in the history of the event that a soloist was invited to perform. Stovall sang "God Bless America" a cappella.

Stovall commented, "I was deeply honored that I was chosen to perform at this event and have a chance to meet the President of our country. When I was informed the song was to honor those at Virginia Tech, my purpose in being there took on a whole new meaning. I was honored to sing such a poignant and beautiful song. I have never felt more proud to be an American than when I was standing at the President's podium with the military orchestra sitting behind me and the color guard poised in front of the stage."

Steve Scully, White House Correspondents Association President, remarked after Stovall's moving delivery of "God Bless America," "Thank you to Natalie Stovall... soon to be Grammy Award-winning Natalie Stovall!"

President George Bush commented, "You nailed it."

Stovall is currently working on a new recording project with hopes of an impending record deal and publishing deal to follow.
