County Line Energy Corp. Awaits "End of Spring Breakup" Before Moving Completion Rig to the "County Line 10D Hayter 10-8-40-1" Wellsite Near Provost, Alberta

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - April 3, 2007) - County Line Energy Corp. (PINK SHEETS:CYLC)(FRANKFURT:G7Q) -

Harry Bygdnes, President of County Line Energy Corp. reports that the company is awaiting the completion of the spring breakup period before moving back on to the HAYTER 10-8-40 wellsite. Bygdnes notes, "The ground is taking longer than normal to dry up after the thaw and we have decided to wait a week or so to avoid excess environmental damage and additional costs."

Bygdnes goes on to report that the company will maintain the "tight hole status" on the well until the well is perforated and flow tested since certain land acquisition and production purchase opportunities are being reviewed during this period.

The term "tight hole" refers to the company's election to keep all information from the drill site entirely confidential due to the competitive nature of the oil and gas business (i.e. no further information on the Hayter well and property will be released until the company has completed its' review of the acquired data and evaluated the opportunities in the area).

Company management is meeting with the advisory geological and geophysical team in Calgary to determine the immediate programs for the Consort, Highway 21, Kirkwell and Hayter prospects.
