County Line Energy Corp. Re-Vitalized by Participation in Suffield Oil Play

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2007) - Harry Bygdnes, President of County Line Energy Corp. (PINK SHEETS:CYLC)(FRANKFURT:G7Q), reports that the company has signed a farmout and option agreement with Anterra Energy Inc. and Orion Resources Corp. both of Calgary, Alberta to participate in the drilling of a well near Suffield, Alberta. County Line will maintain a 25% working interest in the project.

The initial objective is a Mississippian (Pekisko Formation) oil zone. The well location has been determined by geological and geophysical interpretation based on well control and 3D seismic data. It is anticipated that the target zone could result in 4 to 6 meters of light oil pay. A zone of this thickness could result in a potential oil reserve of 70,000 to 80,000 barrels per 40 acre spacing unit. If successful several additional wells can be drilled on this potential oil pool. Possible results for a pool of this size, if successful, could be reserves in the 600,000 bbl range.

The second objective of this well location is a Cretaceous channel sand oil producing reservoir. This potential reservoir lies above the Pekisko and if successful could result in an oil pool discovery of up to 600,000 barrels of light crude oil. A similar Cretaceous channel sand oil pool having wells producing from 50 to 150 barrels of oil per day exists approximately 2-3 kilometers to the south west of the current well location. The well location has been surveyed and it is believed that the well should commence drilling within 10 days.

The participation in the drilling of the initial well will earn County Line Energy Corp. a participating interest in additional acreage. If initial drilling is successful in defining an oil pool additional drilling will be warranted.
