CourseAdvisor Expands Marketing and Analysis Team to Further Increase Student Enrollment for Partner Postsecondary Schools

WAKEFIELD, MA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - CourseAdvisor, a premier online lead generation and marketing solutions provider for higher education institutions, today announced several new hires to deliver enhanced search engine marketing programs for more than 500 postsecondary schools.

Rachel Sherman joined the company as Email Marketing Manager. Sherman comes to CourseAdvisor with extensive experience developing and managing strategic email marketing campaigns for a variety of online initiatives. Sherman will spearhead the development and implementation of Internet marketing tools and focus on increasing online email campaign capabilities to reach target markets. Previously, she held senior online and email marketing positions with Sonicbids and e-Dialog. Sherman holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts.

CourseAdvisor's newest Technical Program Manager Derek Yimoyines is responsible for the planning, day-to-day coordination and management, and the final delivery of strategic data initiatives. Yimoyines brings extensive integration and user interface experience for the telecommunications and speech recognition industries. Prior to CourseAdvisor, he led technical project teams for Groove Mobile's white-label cellphone music store and ran the Scansoft (formerly SpeechWorks) support team for high profile speech recognition installations. Yimoyines holds a master's degree in computer science from University of Massachusetts, as well as a master's and bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Tufts University.

In addition, CourseAdvisor added Martin Reinhart as a Statistical Analyst. He is responsible for building a consumer click-behavior model to further improve the company's lead quality and search engine marketing capabilities. Before joining CourseAdvisor, Reinhart was leader of a statistics team at Skarven Enterprises where he was charged with uncovering unusual events within massive amounts of data. Prior to Skarven, Reinhart built consumer behavior models for detecting fraud in wireless telecommunications markets at Lucent Technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Earlier in his career, he held teaching and research positions at Wellesley College, North Central College, and the University of Illinois.
