Every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from volunteer donors who choose to help. On May 15, 2012, the hotel played host to 38 blood donors, including hotel employees, hotel guests, friends and family. Together, those 38 donors save a total of 87 lives with their donations.
With only three out of every 100 people currently donating blood, the American Red Cross works closely with partners coast-to-coast to host and support blood drives of this type.
