Cousins Properties Deploys LGC Wireless In-Building Cellular System at Landmark Atlanta Property

InterReach Fusion(R) System Serves AT&T, Verizon Subscribers at One Ninety One Peachtree Tower in Heart of Downtown Atlanta

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - September 17, 2007) - LGC Wireless, the leader in in-building wireless solutions, today announced that Cousins Properties (NYSE: CUZ), one of the country's top diversified development companies, has selected LGC's InterReach Fusion® high-rise office building solution to deliver strong, scalable, and highly reliable services for CDMA and GSM network customers inside One Ninety One Peachtree Tower.

An Atlanta landmark, One Ninety One Peachtree Tower is one of the city's tallest and largest office buildings. It includes more than 1.2 million square feet of office space, a 15-level parking garage, and an underground station for the Metro Atlanta Regional Transit Authority (MARTA). Currently, the InterReach Fusion system supports voice and 3G data services for Verizon (CDMA and CDMA 2000 EV-DO) and AT&T Mobility (GSM and HSDPA) customers. The uniformly powerful signal output of the remote antennas helps cellular devices avoid "hunting" between multiple outdoor cellular systems -- a common problem in high-rise structures.

"We wanted the most powerful in-building cellular system available while being mindful of our costs, and it also needed to be relatively easy to retrofit into an existing structure," said Dan G. Arnold, senior vice president and CIO of Cousins Properties. "The Fusion system from LGC Wireless exceeded our expectations with an integrated solution that supports both carrier frequencies via a single set of electronics."

The InterReach Fusion system at One Ninety One Peachtree Tower includes seven Main Hubs, 25 Expansion Hubs, and 196 Remote Antenna Units. As currently deployed, the system covers nearly all interior spaces in the building, including offices, shops, and the above-ground levels of the parking garage.

"Rapidly increasing use of cellular phones and smart phones in high-rise buildings is leading property developers like Cousins Properties to deploy our in-building cellular systems," said John Spindler, vice president of marketing at LGC Wireless. "With the strong signal provided by our InterReach Fusion systems inside the building, voice and 3G data users can get a clear and reliable connection anywhere in the facility."
