CPI Aero Receives Protest in Connection With F-16 Wing Components Contract


EDGEWOOD, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 21, 2014) -  CPI Aerostructures, Inc. ("CPI Aero®") (NYSE MKT: CVU) today announced that its status as a small business concern has been protested in connection with its previously announced receipt of a U.S. Government prime contract from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide structural wing components and logistical support for F-16 aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul operations. The Company has been notified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) that the SBA will be making a determination of the size status of the Company after the Company provides required information to the SBA. Because of the protest, the Company has received a stop-work order from the DLA. The Company is preparing its response to the SBA.
