CPRS/IABC Join Together to Provide Holiday Social for Communicators

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 23, 2010) - The Calgary chapter of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), together with the Calgary chapter of International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), is hosting its annual holiday networking social at Velvet, in The Grand Theatre – 608, 1st St SW, Calgary - on December 9 from 5pm – 9pm.

As membership often spans both organizations, CPRS and IABC are partnering together to co-host the holiday social in order to leverage the networking event.

"Public relations professionals in Calgary look forward to our annual Holiday Social as a great opportunity to meet, mingle, exchange ideas and network. It's all about reconnecting with old friends and PR colleagues, and meeting new ones," says CPRS Calgary president Dan Muys. "That's why we're especially pleased this year to be co-hosting again with IABC Calgary -- so that the who's who of communications in Calgary will all be under one roof."
