Crackshot Corporation Proprietary Data Prevails

TULSA, OK--(Marketwire - December 21, 2009) - Tulsa-based Crackshot Corporation announced a major victory Thursday, December 10, 2009, in its ongoing dispute with a rival, Wind River Designs, Inc, and Wind River's president, Jeff Hargrove. On Thursday a Tulsa County jury unanimously awarded $310,000.00 in actual damages and a similar amount of punitive damages against Wind River Designs, Inc. and Jeff Hargrove on all six of Crackshot's claims. The verdicts rendered for Crackshot were on its claims of deceptive trade practices and unfair competition, violation of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, theft, fraud and tortiously interfering with its business contacts. Crackshot manufactures Snake Guardz™, Snake Chapz™ and Sting Ray Guardz™, for hunters and fishermen, and asserted Wind River and Jeff Hargrove had misappropriated Crackshot's designs and was producing Crackshot's products and selling them under Wind River's name. Crackshot President Tom Hargrove said, "On behalf of our stockholders, I am very pleased that our proprietary interests in our products were vindicated by this verdict. Wind River continues to be enjoined from using any of our designs in their products in the future."

Crackshot Corporation is an 11 year old company which manufactures a snake protection gaiter, sting ray proof gaiter and snake chaps. All products are manufactured in America and tested to ASTM 1342-05 penetration specifications.
