Crain's New York Business Is Seeking Nominations for Its Inaugural 50 Fastest-Growing Companies in NYC Feature

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2012) - Crain's New York Business announced today that it is seeking nominations for its upcoming Fast 50™ ranking of the 50 fastest-growing companies in New York City. This ranking will feature privately held companies headquartered in NYC with at least $20 million in 2011 revenue. The 50 top companies by revenue growth will be unveiled in the June 25, 2012, issue of Crain's New York Business and online at

Even in an economic downturn, New York's businesses know how to keep pace. Crain's wants to identify the front-runners who've thrived on the challenge by ranking the 50 fastest-growing companies in the New York area.

"Crain's is always looking for the best in class," said Xana Antunes, Crain's editor. "This list will draw attention to the companies likely to be at the leading edge of New York City's future economic growth."

To be eligible for consideration, a company must be privately held, have an inception date on or before Dec. 31, 2008, be willing to submit audited financial statements or tax returns for evaluation by an outside accounting firm and complete the Fast 50™ application.
