Crave Protein (RCP) Launches Social Media Awareness Campaign to Find Out What People Crave Most in Their Lives

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Aug 17, 2015) - Some people crave a slimmer body, some crave power, others crave love and some even crave presidency. Crave Protein (RCP), the first protein supplement made with real chicken protein, launches the "What Do YOU Crave" social media campaign: "#ICrave."

Since there's no "one size fits all" when it comes to fitness or leading an active, healthy lifestyle, Crave is asking everyone from gym rats to mall walkers the $64,000 question: What do YOU crave?

The #ICrave Campaign kicks off today nationwide to find out what activities interest you, what keeps you buzzing, active, alert and healthy, no matter your age, gender or (ugh) politics.

Singer, songwriter and recording artist, Tatianna Owens, who has been featured on Vh1, MTV, Logo, Lifetime, CMT and Showtime, is excited to be participating in the #ICrave campaign.

"Singing and performing keep me incredibly active and it is what I love more than anything," said Owens. "I'm excited to share my passion with everyone in the #ICrave campaign."

The goal is simple. Crave Protein (RCP) wants to encourage people to continue down a track of healthy lifestyle choices and inspire others to do the same.

"We want to send a message that gets people feeling good about themselves again," said TransMedia Group creative director and personal advocate for Crave Protein Cassandra Cardenas. "We want to cheer on those that are already active and inspire those who want to take that step toward leading a healthier and happier life."

What makes this campaign unique is the diversity of people participating, from artists to athletes who'll be getting visually involved. "If a picture is worth a thousand words, sharing it is like a thousand pictures," said Cardenas.

"We all come in different shapes and sizes. We have different goals and expectations of what we should look like," said 1976 Olympic Gold Medalist Boxer Howard Davis Jr. "What's important is finding something that keeps you motivated and happy to work hard and be healthy."

Crave Protein has partnered up with TransMedia Group (www.transmediagroup.com) to jump start the social media campaign. TransMedia has a successful track record for social media campaigns including one from another Chicago-based project, Magikist Lips http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2004-01-29/news/0401290098_1_lips-dan-ryan-expressway-kiss

If you want to be involved with the #ICrave campaign take a photo of yourself doing the activity that you crave with the hashtag #ICrave, tag three friends and share via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Crave Protein (RCP) is available online only at www.craveprotein.com. Headquarters is located at 213 N. Morgan Suite 2C, Chicago, IL 60607.

The #ICrave campaign was conceived by the award-winning, international public relations firm TransMedia Group, which over the years has conducted some of the most successful public service and public relations campaigns for a host clients, including some of the largest companies in the world, from AT&T to Kellogg's Company.

For a publicity campaign promoting fair housing in The City of New York, TransMedia won a Bronze Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America, plus many other recognitions for its publicity campaigns, including "Who Has The Most Kissable Lips In Chicago" for the Chicago rug cleaning company MagiKist.

"Public service campaigns are what we do so well because we love to do them," said TransMedia's founder Tom Madden, a former #2-ranked executive at NBC and the author of "Spin Man" and "King of the Condo."
