Criollo Celebrates the Release of Its Album "BaHiRe" at Club Soda

MONTREAL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 14, 2006 -- One Island Music Inc. and S3NSE Communication are proud to invite you the official album release party of Criollo's debut album entitled "BaHiRe" that will take place on November 24th, 2006 at Club Soda.

The all-ages event inaugurating the launch of the debut album "BaHiRe" of Criollo will offer tracks off the new album and never before heard songs in which catchy beats intermesh with fluid lyrics and rich socially conscientious content. DJs and guest artists will also be part of the event and will share the stage with Criollo. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m.

Criollo, meaning "of, or pertaining to, a Spanish American country," is formed of 4 musicians who all share roots of the Dominican Republic. Since 2002, Salvador "Sol" Valdez, Alexis "El Gordo" Grullón, José "Chiro" Mata and Gilbert "Giby" Capellan are members of Criollo. The uniqueness of their music derives from a rich synthesis of Bachata, Hip Hop and Reggaeton sounds. Inspired by their personal experiences and delivered in their mother tongue of Spanish, the album "BaHiRe" offers us songs that bear elements of the tropics that address social subject matters and convey messages of determination, courage and hope.
