Crossroads to Feature Data Protection and Archive Solutions at 2011 International MUSE Conference

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - May 27, 2011) - Crossroads Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CRDS) today announced it will exhibit both current and upcoming data protection and storage solutions in booth # 1116 at the 2011 International MUSE Conference being held May 31-June 3 at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Medical Users Software Exchange (MUSE) supports healthcare organizations using MEDITECH developed software and technologies by providing a user-driven networking environment conducive to learning. The International MUSE Conference serves as an annual venue where ideas are exchanged and information is shared so that MUSE members can continually improve organizational performance.

Crossroads, a MUSE member, will feature the following three healthcare solutions:

  • Crossroads SPHiNX™ - a virtual tape appliance approved for use by MEDITECH
SPHiNX is an ideal data protection solution that allows users to encrypt data and replicate offsite for HIPAA and other regulatory compliance. In August 2010, Crossroads announced a global reseller alliance with Dell Services. Dell Services works closely with healthcare organizations to optimize the long-term use of the MEDITECH system and improve healthcare delivery with systems such as SPHiNX. • ReadVerify® Appliance (RVA®)
RVA is the most comprehensive monitoring and reporting system for the diagnosis and health of tape libraries. The optional ArchiveVerify feature provides HIPAA and other compliance audit validation. With RVA, organizations can be confident in the physical integrity of tape media and secure in the knowledge that data can be restored, should disaster strike. • StrongBox® - A Network Attached Storage Solution
Available in October 2011, Crossroads' upcoming StrongBox network attached storage solution is set to revolutionize long-term data preservation of medical records. Designed to address the need for low cost and highly reliable long-term data preservation, StrongBox presents itself as a traditional network-attached storage (NAS) while leveraging the new Linear Tape File System (LTFS).
