Crossroads Systems Appoints Joseph J. Hartnett to Board of Directors

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - March 2, 2011) - Crossroads Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CRDS) today announced that Joseph J. Hartnett has joined the Crossroads Systems Board of Directors.

Hartnett is a 32-year veteran of the technology and financial industries. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Sparton Corporation, a diversified electronics company serving government and commercial markets worldwide. Harnett also serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at Ingenient Technologies, a global provider of embedded multimedia systems and solutions.

He previously served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at U.S. Robotics Corporation and held various leadership positions at Grant Thornton LLP for more than 20 years. A Certified Public Accountant, Hartnett holds a degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
