Crossroads Systems Forms Multi-Vertical Customer Advisory Board

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - Crossroads Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CRDS) today announced it formed a Customer Advisory Board comprised of more than 19 end-user organizations across numerous vertical markets.

A crucial source of insight on customer requirements, business priorities, industry trends and product requirements, the Crossroads Customer Advisory Board is helping to define features and functions for Crossroads' upcoming network attached tape storage solution announced in April.

The diverse group of represented industries enables Crossroads to identify both current and future requirements for long-term data archiving. Below are descriptions of the board's member organizations grouped by vertical market:

Two members of the board include the Major League Baseball (MLB) Network, the ultimate television destination for baseball fans, and Capgemini Nederland B.V., a subsidiary of the Capgemini Group, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services.

"The Crossroads Customer Advisory Board is an excellent opportunity to collaborate on a solution that addresses our long-term data storage needs," said Tab Butler, director of media management at MLB Network. "This provides a unique advantage for us as well as Crossroads. We are not only helping define the features and functions of the product, but we are part of a process to develop a solution that will ideally suit our particular business needs in the broadcast sector."

"Capgemini is pleased to serve on the Crossroads Customer Advisory Board," said Frank Huiskes, CTO of infrastructure transformation services at Capgemini. "As both a partner and customer of Crossroads, we see great value in helping to be sure Crossroads' solutions address specific end-user storage requirements that we see in the field. With pre-launch access to Crossroads' latest innovations, we can play an essential role in optimizing product capabilities during important development stages. The result is a win-win situation for both organizations."
