CrowdOptic Partners With National Bioskills Laboratories to Provide Global, Live Interactive Broadcasting Applications Through Google Glass

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - February 24, 2016) -  CrowdOptic and National Bioskills Laboratories (NBL) today announced an agreement to provide smartglasses training solutions to all NBL locations, expanding the reach of NBL's "Center of Excellence" training center programs to a broader global audience through the use of Google Glass and CrowdOptic's patented technology.

This solution, which uses CrowdOptic's patented, HIPAA-compliant clinical education platform, implemented on Google Glass and worn by operators and trainers within the NBL, to share live, first-person point of views from NBL's simulated operating rooms and cadaver labs, will allow virtual training attendees to gain a two-way, real-time perspective of procedures from around the world.

"With this cutting edge technology, National Bioskills Laboratories is excited to expand our vision of connected and integrated training centers nationwide allowing us to reach more people while enhancing their learning experience -- all while doing it at a lower cost for our clients," commented Douglas A. Hampers, MD, CEO of National Bioskills Laboratories.

"This is just one of the ways in which Google Glass, powered by CrowdOptic software, will help enhance the experience of remote training in the medical field and remove geographical barriers for expert training opportunities around the world," commented CrowdOptic CEO Jon Fisher.

National Bioskills Laboratories is a medical education training company dedicated to supporting medical education by providing the medical industry with "Training Centers of Excellence" using the latest equipment and the optimal learning environment.
