CrowdOptic Receives U.S. Patent No. 9,264,474 for Focus Based Services (FBS) ™

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - January 28, 2016) - CrowdOptic announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 9,264,474, an issuance that complements the company's portfolio of other patents including U.S. Patent No. 9,020,832 and U.S. Patent No. 8,527,340.

"This is a new form of triangulation and mobile device context that we call Focus Based Services (FBS)," said Jon Fisher, an inventor on the patent and CrowdOptic's co-founding CEO. "An enterprise understanding of where devices are aimed in common is important to understanding real time events."

CrowdOptic deployed smart glasses-based experiences for the Denver Broncos during the team's AFC championship season this year. Such experiences included filtering the best video as taken from multiple devices as seen in this clip on the Denver Broncos Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DenverBroncos/videos/10153933655856318.

CrowdOptic's other representative clients include Endologix (medical devices), UCSF (healthcare), and L'Oreal (media).
