CrownPeak Named as Finalist in Two Categories for 2011 American Business Awards(SM)

9th Annual Stevie® Awards Will Be Presented on June 20 in New York City

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2011) - CrownPeak, the market leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) for Web content management, was named a finalist today for the 2011 American Business Awards in two categories -- Product Development/Management Team of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

This year's Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than six-hundred executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The event will benefit Camfed (, which fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network.

More than 2,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 40 categories. The Product Development/Management Team category, in which CrownPeak is placed, honors the innovation in managing new product or service offerings. The Marketing Campaign category recognizes CrownPeak's achievement in communicating the benefits of its cloud based Web content management solution over legacy on-premise applications. "CrownPeak has been driving thought leadership in the Web Content Management space for more than ten years," said CrownPeak Vice President of Marketing, Soumya Das. "This recognition helps us to reinforce the unique advantages software-as-a-service WCM technology has for enterprises."

"We are so honored to be recognized by the American Business Awards for both our strong product development and marketing capabilities," said CrownPeak CEO Jim Howard. "We attribute much of our leadership position in the Web content management and marketing space to our unparalleled commitment to innovation. I really look at this as an across-the-board testament to our ability to build, manage, deliver and support the best WCM solution on the market."

Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. Stevie Award winners will be selected from among the finalists in each category next week by members of 10 specialized final judging committees. More than 150 executives will have participated in judging this year.
