VANCOUVER, WA--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2013) - CRU, the leader in storage solutions for digital cinema content distribution, will showcase its new DCmini hard drive cartridge, adapter, and shipping case at the CineEurope conference in Barcelona, Spain June 24-27, 2013. The complete DCmini content distribution solution includes the innovative DCmini shipping case, created for reuse, durability, ease of handling, and reduced shipping costs.
CRU, which recently began to deliver the DCmini product set, worked in conjunction with a handful of customers to define the new product, and noted in particular the role dcinex content services played in designing a unique shipping case for the DCmini cartridge.
"Customers are our best source of input for generating and refining product ideas and working with Carsten on developing the DCmini shipping case and total DCmini solution was yet another collaborative effort resulting in a market-leading product," said Randal Barber, President and CEO of CRU. "We are glad to continue CRU's longstanding relationship with Carsten and dcinex in this manner."
"We were pleased to help CRU create this unique set of products for delivering digital content," said Carsten Schuffert, Vice President Content Services, dcinex. "This was an ideal opportunity to create an efficient and robust package for distributing digital content."
CRU will be celebrating with a daily giveaway of a DCmini cartridge, adapter, and shipping case at the CineEurope tradeshow in Booth # 405.
