Cruise America Offers Discount RV Rental Specials to Great Destinations This Fall

As the Company Relocates Its Motorhome Inventory for the Winter Season, Customers Can Save Hundreds on One-Way RV Rentals at Key Locations Nationwide

MESA, AZ--(Marketwire - August 14, 2007) - As the summer season comes to a close, recreational vehicle rental customers can receive deep discounts on one-way RV rentals to vacation destinations throughout America's Sunbelt from Cruise America, the nation's number-one provider of RV rentals and used RVs for sale.

Throughout the months of August, September and October, Cruise America is preparing for the winter travel season by relocating its motorhome inventory from locations throughout California and Nevada -- as well as cooler climates in the Northeast, Midwest, Rockies and Northwest -- to regions in the Florida peninsula and the Southwest.

To help make this move possible, the company is offering customers reduced daily rental charges and discounted or free mileage, as well as waiving its one-way rental drop fee. For example, San Francisco customers heading to Phoenix or Tucson, Ariz. can rent a standard or large RV for six nights at only $24 per night and receive 1,500 free miles -- a savings of $1,086 off the standard rate of $125 per night and 32 cents per mile.

"We have hundreds of motorhomes slated for relocation in the coming months," says Mike Smalley, vice president of operations for Cruise America. "Customers who help us move these RVs to high-traffic winter vacation spots like Phoenix and Orlando will be rewarded with a great deal on their rental. With this special, they can save hundreds on an RV vacation to a prime destination."

Smalley also notes that the company's relocation specials will allow travelers to visit some of America's best destinations for fall travel.

"Our need truly is our customers' opportunity this fall, and we invite anyone interested in heading south for a family vacation or RV road trip to take advantage of this offer," he says. "Plus, autumn is a great time in Arizona and Florida. Whether you're taking the kids RV camping at Disneyworld or planning a Grand Canyon camping trip, the fall season offers perfect temperatures, sunny skies and gorgeous scenery."

These relocation specials are offered at limited locations and on limited inventory, so customers are encouraged to make their reservations early by calling 1-800-671-8042. One-way RV rentals are not available through the company's online booking system. For complete details on these specials, see the hot RV rental deals section on Cruise America's Web site.

Cruise America RVs are available in compact, standard and large sizes, sleeping from four to seven people and offering a kitchen, bathroom and living area. For vacationers who'd rather drive their own vehicle, Cruise America also offers camping trailers for rent, as well as motorhome sales centers at locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Founded in Florida in 1972 and now based in Mesa, Ariz., Cruise America is the largest RV rental and sales company in the U.S., employing around 300 full-time employees in the U.S. and Canada during peak seasons. Family-owned and operated, Cruise America was founded by Robert Smalley, Sr., and is now led by his sons, CEO Randall Smalley and President Robert Smalley, Jr. Visit Cruise America online for more information or to see great deals on RVs for sale and find out about RV jobs.
