CSI Honors School District of Pickens County With 2007 Trailblazer of Excellence Award

Award Recognizes District for Outstanding Technology Advancements in Education

EASLEY, SC--(Marketwire - September 12, 2007) - Computer Software Innovations, Inc. ("CSI") (OTCBB: CSWI), a leading provider of software and technology solutions primarily for the public sector, has honored the School District of Pickens County with the 2007 Trailblazer of Excellence Award. Designed to recognize pioneers in the education sector for furthering the use of technology to enhance student achievement, the award was presented to the district during their kick off celebration for the 2007-2008 school year.

"Pickens County School District has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the growth and success of their students and faculty," said Tom Clinton, Senior Vice President of Strategic Relations for CSI. "Their widespread investment in technology, as well as staff training to support the technology's use, is a shining example of their dedication to excel in the education sector and advance student learning. We are pleased to honor them with this year's Trailblazer of Excellence Award."

In preparation for the new school year, the School District of Pickens County installed Promethean interactive whiteboards, also known as Activboards, in each of its classrooms and provided laptops to its certified employees. As part of this initiative, teachers attended professional development courses to increase their understanding of the new technology's capabilities in order to maximize the impact of the technology in the classrooms.

"In today's world, students require more innovative teaching methods to remain engaged in the classroom," said David Dechant, CSI's Chief Financial Officer. "The School District of Pickens County recognized those needs and invested the time and resources necessary to ensure that students and faculty are able to excel in a 21st century learning environment. They are truly blazing new trails in the education sector, and we hope their actions inspire other districts to do the same."
