CSM Systems Corp; Visionstate Unveils MiniViCCi

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 10, 2007) - Virtual customer service aided by touch screen technologies has taken another step forward after Visionstate, a division of CSM Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CKX), unveiled its new ViCCi product.

The new MiniViCCi, launched at Mill Woods Town Centre in Edmonton, Alberta in July 2007, combines a sleeker housing design with a large format interactive LCD screen in portrait mode to provide consumers with easy, intuitive customer service. On the back of the MiniViCCi unit is a 50-inch plasma screen streaming multimedia advertising and news content.

ViCCi, which stands for Virtual Customer Care Interface, was first launched in Southgate Centre in the fall of 2006. Since then the product has been a success and launched in other Canadian shopping centres, with tens of thousands of people using the technology every month.

The newest ViCCi unit is designed to meet the needs of smaller venues, including shopping centres, hospitals, airports and public buildings. The technology empowers consumers, with a simple touch, to access customer service information. A virtual customer service agent interacts with people to help them find what they need.

"The MiniViCCi unit represents the next evolution in the company's product line," says John Putters, Visionstate President. "This solution is ideal for locations that are smaller but still require a strong customer service component."

ViCCi is a technology designed to lighten the load on the customer service labor force by providing people with the means to easily access information on their own. "The growing use of the Internet proves that people are very comfortable accessing information on their own. Visionstate is simply providing that information at locations where they need it most," Putters said.

With easy to use interfaces, intelligent software, and touch screen technology, Visionstate seeks to advance technology as an ideal solution to addressing chronic short and long-term labour shortages.

Currently ViCCi is installed in three shopping centres in Canada, and has installed a unit in Edmonton Transit's LRT system to assist people finding bus and rail routes and schedules.
