CSM Systems Signs ViCCi agreement with Ivanhoe Cambridge

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 23, 2006) - Visionstate, the operating division of CSM Systems Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CKX), an Edmonton based digital media company, announced today it has signed an agreement with Ivanhoe Cambridge to roll out a revolutionary customer service and way finding system called the Virtual Customer Care Interface (or ViCCi). The contract provides Visionstate the potential to deploy this technology to shopping centres across Canada.

"We are pleased to be working with a forward thinking company like Ivanhoe Cambridge to deploy our cutting edge interactive directory and virtual customer care technology in Canada," said John Putters, President of CSM Systems.

The first of its kind in the world, ViCCi is an interactive directory that uses high definition plasma screens, LCD touch screens and 3D technology to help consumers locate products, services and stores. At the heart of the system is an animated digital assistant that responds verbally at a touch to give directions, provide store descriptions, supply product information and even offer gift ideas.

ViCCi includes a direct access line to customer service staff, and has the ability to distribute maps, coupons and other information to mobile devices using Bluetooth technology. The back of each unit features a narrowcast network that airs multimedia advertisements and real-time news, weather and community events.

"This is an exciting development in the customer service industry that capitalizes on convenience, technology, interactivity, and personal assistance," said Putters.

Calgary's Southcentre Mall has been chosen to officially launch this new technology with eight ViCCi units set to be operational by early November.
