CSPCA Holds Dog Wash to Raise Needed Funds

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 10, 2005) - In collaboration with our sponsor Mondou, the Canadian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CSPCA) is pleased to invite dog owners to bring their dogs to a fund raising dog wash at the Mondou Store located at 10400 Renaude-Lapointe in Anjou from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2005. Funds raised from this initiative will be used for the SPCA's Foster Program.

The SPCA Foster Program is one of its most important program. Through this program, the SPCA saves the lives of many animals that could not have survived because they were either too young or too old, pregnant or handicapped.

A minimum donation of $10 is requested for a dog wash. There will also be groomers on site for ear and eye cleaning for an additional $4 as well as nail clipping for an additional $5. SPCA volunteers will be on hand to help manage the event. The event will be cancelled in the event of rain.

All media are welcome to attend this event.
