CT Lien Solutions Launches iLienRED for Real Estate Document Management

Web-Based Platform Streamlines Workflow and Increases Productivity for Back-End Mortgage Processes

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 16, 2011) - CT Lien Solutions, the most comprehensive provider of lien management, debtor due diligence, monitoring and risk management solutions to lenders, law firms and corporations, today announced the launch of iLienRED, the industry's newest platform for managing and recording real estate documents. CT Lien Solutions is part of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services.

iLienRED is an easy-to-navigate Web-based technology tool that allows mortgage back-office processes to be more efficient, transparent and compliant. With a streamlined workflow and mouse-free keystrokes to prepare, record or determine the status of any mortgage-related document, iLienRED combines the latest technology with internal experts who work with every jurisdiction in the nation.

The platform was developed for both residential and commercial mortgage back-office operations, both laden with manual processes, paperwork and intricate details. To reduce the amount of errors and inefficiencies while increasing productivity, specialized features built into iLienRED include:

  • eRecording: Clients can electronically record originations, partial and full releases, assignments and modifications (or manually when not available by jurisdiction).
  • Updated Fees and Requirements: Updated continuously in the system.
  • No Deposits or Reconciliation: CT Lien Solutions funds the jurisdiction fees in advance and bills for fees only after recordings are delivered.
  • Streamlined Data Entry: Intuitive navigation and data entry fields are mapped to each jurisdiction's specific requirements.
  • Missing Data: The system indicates which documents are missing required information then allows clients to complete the fields directly into an online report.
  • Compliance Reports: Indicate which loans are in/out of compliance, the state statue timeframes to comply with and how many days each release has before its due date.
  • Status Reports: Clients can keep track of the status of all documents in the system in real time. Where other systems require the user to export this information and sort it manually, iLienRED provides all status updates on a single, easy-to-sort screen.
  • Integration: With flexible technology, clients can easily integrate the recorded document images and/or data with their internal loan origination or servicing systems.

"CT Lien Solutions' three decades of experience and deep familiarity with public record management put us in a unique position to develop iLienRED," said Gene Lasky, executive vice president and general manager, CT Lien Solutions. "We worked hard to deliver what we feel is now the industry's most robust and easy-to-use real estate document management platform for back-end mortgage operations -- particularly for high-volume, multi-jurisdictional clients."

iLienRED demonstrations are available to the press and analyst communities upon request.
