CT Lien Solutions to Offer Insight on Article 9 at the 2013 International Factoring Association Conference

Company Projects Article 9 Amendments and UCC Regulation to Be Hot Topic

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Apr 15, 2013) -  Upcoming Article 9 amendments and increased Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) search and filing complexities are among key industry issues that CT Lien Solutions, the leading provider of lien lifecycle management services for law firms, lenders and leasing companies, will address heading into the International Factoring Association's 19th annual conference. The event will take place April 24-26, at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.

New Amendments to Article 9 of the UCC are particularly top of mind as they will become effective in all 50 states and the District of Columbia on July 1. The most significant changes taking place will affect the filing of financing statements, particularly the treatment of individual debtor names.

"Given the changes affecting the filing of financing statements, it will be important for companies to review policies and procedures before July 1," said Rohit Chhabra, Vice President of Strategy & Product Management, CT Lien Solutions. "As experts on lien lifecycle management, we are in a position to bring clarity to these changes and other current UCC, lien and court service issues. Our job is to empower companies to protect their lien positions, and we know that this is a critical problem people will be looking to solve at this conference."

CT Lien Solutions will provide product and service demonstrations at booths 104 and 106, allowing attendees to directly experience the specialized services CT Lien Solutions offers first-hand -- such as automatic, recurring lien searches, debtor monitoring, business entity monitoring, and general search and filing services.

"CT Lien Solutions has an unparalleled search accuracy rate, an unmatched degree of reliability, and a unique service partnership and consultative approach," said Chhabra, encouraging anyone seeking a solution to protect their lien positions to stop by the CT Lien Solutions booth in Miami. "We have decades of experience in this market, the largest networks, and we're a knowledge leader and a business partner in precision. That's what really sets us apart as the industry's first choice."
