CTC and Roundbox Partner to Deliver First Mobile IP Datacast Demonstration for the Japanese Market

Demonstration Showcases Real-Time Weather, News, Advertising, and Stock Prices at Expo Comm Wireless Japan 2007

TOKYO and FLORHAM PARK, NJ--(Marketwire - July 17, 2007) - ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corp. (CTC), a leading total system solution provider, and Roundbox, Inc., a leader in mobile broadcast software, today announced they will conduct a live mobile IP datacast demonstration, customized for the Japanese market, during Expo Comm Wireless Japan 2007, July 18 - 20 in Tokyo, Japan. The application utilizes a FLO-based mobile broadcast network and Roundbox's IP datacast infrastructure to deliver robust, compelling multimedia services that transcend television.

This end-to-end application, called Active Wallpaper, delivers continuous real-time weather, news, advertising and stock data to a rich, graphical client. Accessing localized data, this application validates the power of datacasting to provide feature-rich services while providing operators bandwidth-efficient revenue opportunities. In addition to a customized screen to exemplify how operators can change colors, icons, background images and logos, the Active Wallpaper demonstration highlights the following features:
