Culinary Creations for Man's Best Friend

CLAREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - February 15, 2010) -  Thirty-five people appeared with dogs of all sizes to sample the 1-foot-long mahogany smoked gourmet dog bones offered by Canine Culinary Creations on a rainy Friday night, February 5, 2010.

Began by Chef Edward Mac, Canine Culinary Creations offers human grade, custom designed pet food including gourmet specialties like "corned beef and cabbage," "turkey and quinoa" and healthy "puppy crack" flavors.

Says founder Chef Edward Mac of his inspiration, "I offer an alternative to beggin' strips, milk bones and other dog junk food that can detract from a pet's overall well-being."

Mac teaches 8-person workshops for those interested in making creative, custom and all-natural pet food at the Young Chefs Academy located at 514 W. 1st Street, Claremont, CA. Workshops are based around customer requests and future cooking class dates include:

  • March 6, 7 to 8:30 p.m.     -- Kibble Cooking Class
  • March 28, 2 to 3:30 p.m.   -- Raw Ingredients Dog Food Class
  • April 8, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.   -- Kids Only Cooking and Dog Treats Mini-Camp

  • April 24, 7 to 8:30 p.m.      -- Healthy Dehydrated Treats for Dogs
  • May 30, 2 to 3:30 p.m.      -- Grilling and Chilling with your Dog
