CUPE 2087 reaches new agreement with City of Rossland


ROSSLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 4, 2016) - CUPE Local 2087 representing workers at the City of Rossland have ratified a new agreement with the City.

"I'd like to thank our bargaining committee for their hard work in reaching this deal," said CUPE President, Jean Poole. "We had a productive and respectful round of bargaining and we look forward to serving residents and businesses in Rossland."

The four year agreement consisted of a two percent increase in each year along with improvements in extended health benefits, bank time and contract language.

CUPE 2087 represents 24 workers in the City of Rossland who provide a wide range of services for residents and businesses in the City of Rossland.
