She will be joined by local NDP candidates Gerti Dervishi, Paul Ferreira, David Hynes, Jonah Schein and Neethan Shan. Rennick and candidates will be available for interviews.

Public transit is a key component of a healthy, functioning city. Proposed cuts to TTC services will significantly affect many Torontonians, particularly recent immigrant communities. Maintaining and improving service will require a provincial government that understands it has a role to play in making public transit effective and affordable.

CUPE Ontario is actively encouraging its members to support the NDP in the October 6 provincial election.
