New Position to Further Advance Firm's Leadership in Providing Critical, Valuable Commercial Real Estate Market Research and Analysis


SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2012) - Commerce Real Estate Solutions (www.comre.com), an independently owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, today announced it has named Scott Lovell as Regional Research Director. Lovell will head the acclaimed Commerce research department in delivering indispensable commercial real estate market research and analysis from all 10 offices throughout Utah, Washington, Nevada and Idaho.

Lovell will manage the recruiting, developing and retaining of staff throughout the department and ensuring that the quality of the reports and data adhere to corporate standards. He will also lead the integration of a new proprietary research database that will span several western states, align Commerce branch research and upgrade the methodology of collecting and analyzing the data.

He has deep experience in asset management and acquisition for office, industrial, retail and multi-family properties. Prior to Commerce, Lovell worked as the director of real estate projects for Trigild where he was responsible for managing and evaluating non-performing commercial assets. In this capacity he oversaw properties located throughout the Midwest and Western United States. He also worked as an asset manager for the Garrett Group where he oversaw a portfolio of 2.2 million square feet of office and industrial properties throughout Southern California, Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. He created strategic plans, completed hold/sell analysis and oversaw financial reporting and budgeting.

Lovell holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California in Irvine.
