BOISE, ID--(Marketwired - Jan 20, 2015) - Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce today announced that Dan McGregor has joined the firm in the Boise office as the Property Manager. McGregor, a property management expert is bringing with him a large portfolio of properties with nearly one million square feet of space.
His illustrious real estate career began in 1972, buying and selling agricultural properties. He continued his career, leasing and managing high-rise office buildings and Suburban Office Complexes for Equitec Properties in St. Louis, Missouri, and Memphis, Tennessee. He then worked for Southmark, a large REIT that is based in Long Beach, CA, where he was responsible for the management of approximately 30,000,000 square feet of office buildings and retail centers throughout the western United States. He returned to Boise in 1990, where he has managed numerous office and retail centers in the local area.
Some of the local properties McGregor has managed include University Plaza, Hillcrest Shopping Center, US Bank, The Hoff Building, Westgate Shopping Center, Franklin Business Park, 8th Street Marketplace, the PERSI Buildings, S-Sixteens Portfolio, DJS Properties, the Health and Welfare Building, Emerald Executive Park, Emerald Business Park, Emerald C, Pro Properties and several other buildings.

McGregor received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 1968. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1972 during the Vietnam conflict. In 1973 he attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, specializing in International Relations. He received his RPA, Designation from BOMI in 1989.
