LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwired - May 22, 2014) - FormFactor (NASDAQ: FORM) today announced that it achieved a RANKED 1st Supplier of Subsystems distinction in the 2014 Customer Satisfaction Survey published annually by leading market research firm, VLSIresearch. Subsystems -- which includes semiconductor probe cards -- is one of 15 market categories covered by the VLSIresearch Survey.
The distinction is the second industry-leading achievement for FormFactor this month. The company was ranked as the world's top supplier of semiconductor probe cards in a separate VLSIresearch report*.
This year's survey spanned two-and-a-half months and covered five languages. VLSIresearch received feedback from 83 percent of the Subsystems market. Worldwide participants were asked to rate suppliers on three key factors: supplier performance, customer service, and product performance.
"We're honored to be recognized for our collaborative engagements with customers," said FormFactor's CEO and Executive Chairman Tom St. Dennis. "Much credit goes to our employees. It's their expertise and passion for innovation that produces the probe card technology valued by customers. This public acknowledgement only deepens our commitment to helping customers improve their yield management and shorten the time to revenue."
"FormFactor is to be congratulated for its outstanding rating of higher than a 9.0," said G. Dan Hutcheson, CEO of VLSIresearch. "The Survey results reveal customer appreciation for FormFactor's product performance and technical leadership, as well as a high level of satisfaction with the company's customer care model."
