CustomScoop Launches New Media Monitoring Features

More User Interface Improvements, Faster Analytical Capabilities Are Key Elements of Launch

CONCORD, NH--(Marketwire - March 23, 2011) - CustomScoop, a leader in customizable media monitoring and media analysis services, today announces its Spring 2011 product release. The release further expands on the user interface updates released last autumn.

"We are very pleased with this round of updates to CustomScoop," said Steve Bracy, EVP of CustomScoop. "Our advanced interface allows subscribers to review and process their results much more quickly, saving time and effort. We took a critical look at how our clients process the fast, accurate results the CustomScoop system delivers, and made design changes to our user interface that streamline data analysis considerably."

The changes provide users to more quickly access, process, and report on the data collected by CustomScoop. Display icons allow users to easily identify their social media and traditional media results, while a redesigned home page and daily email provide a quick "at a glance" breakdown of source information. A new action box enables users to quickly tag, rate, or delete results for large quantities of content. For subscribers of the Professional and Team Editions, single-click rating speeds up the process of assigning sentiment. Creating reports of results has never been quicker, as subscribers can now use one-click icons to perform a variety of reporting functions, including generating charts, spreadsheets, PDFs, and generating XML and RSS feeds.

"This release is a natural progression for CustomScoop," said Bracy. "Communications professionals need the fast, accurate results they have come to rely on from CustomScoop, but they also need the ability to rapidly turn those results into actionable intelligence. The proliferation of social media content means there is more to analyze, which has led to a time crunch. Our latest generation of upgrades allows users to analyze more results in less time."
