The new MRI scanner at Insight Imaging - Fountains is the first 3.0 Tesla-strength system to feature a 70cm wide bore for enhanced patient comfort, as well as a "silent mode" for some exams, allowing for a quieter MRI experience.

The wider bore provides more space which can relieve anxiety for patients who are uncomfortable in a traditional MRI scanner.
