CWF's Awards Nomination Deadline Fast Approaches

OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - January 20, 2015) - The deadline for the Canadian Wildlife Federation's Conservation Achievement Awards is fast approaching. Nominations will be accepted until 11:59pm ET January 31st, 2015.

The Conservation Achievement Awards are comprised of eight categories which honour an individual or groups' commitment to wildlife or habitat in Canada. We look forward to a variety of nominations whether they are for volunteers, professionals, youth, teachers or conservationists; if they have made a difference for wildlife we want to hear about it!

"CWF's Award Program has a history of honouring excellent work for wildlife being carried out across our country," said Wade Luzny, CWF Executive Vice-President. "From well-known Canadian artists such as musician Sarah Harmer, to community volunteers, to youth making waves across the country -- these awards are one way to pay tribute to what so many people have made their life's work: to ensure our natural heritage remains for future generations."
