Cyan to Present at Light Reading's Ethernet Expo 2010 and TelcoTV 2010 Conference & Expo

Upcoming Webinar With Cyan, ACG Research and Overture Networks Will Highlight Advanced SLA Monitoring and Reporting for Carrier Ethernet Networks

PETALUMA, CA--(Marketwire - October 25, 2010) -  Cyan today announced the company will host a webinar to discuss Carrier Ethernet service management on Thursday, October 28 with representatives from ACG Research and Overture Networks. In addition to the upcoming webinar, Cyan's vice president of marketing and market development, Frank Wiener, will also present at Light Reading's Ethernet Expo and TelcoTV 2010 Conference & Expo this November.

Along with Frank, Eve Griliches, managing partner at ACG Research and Mark Durrett, director of marketing at Overture Networks will take part in the webinar titled "Carrier Ethernet with Advanced SLA's: The Emerging Service Provider Differentiator." The presenters will discuss changes within the network infrastructure, as well as the new standards and key network technologies for measuring, monitoring and reporting Ethernet SLAs.

Frank will discuss proactive strategies for monetizing layered networks in the panel session titled "Carrier Ethernet Service Management: Monetize the Network With an Aggressive Approach to Service Delivery." In the session, Frank will highlight the benefits of real-time SLA monitoring and reporting. Frank will also illustrate how they can increase network monetization and enable proactive management of Ethernet services. These strategies will allow operators to strengthen relationships with their customer base, while accelerating revenue.

At TelcoTV, Frank will present with Ken Paker, vice president of network services at TDS Telecom. This joint presentation will share successful, real-world strategies for optimizing networks for IPTV and other growing bandwidth demands in their session titled "Architecting For Flexible and Profitable Services Delivery." Frank and Ken will discuss how new transport infrastructure technologies and network planning, management and design tools can enable operators to overcome network challenges when evolving their existing infrastructure.
