CyberCare Health Network Enhances Wound Care Program With Mobile Image Application

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 18, 2013) - EncounterCare Solutions (PINKSHEETS: ECSL) announced today that its subsidiary, CyberCare Health Network, Inc. ("CyberCare"), has released a mobile application allowing both patients and care providers to take pictures of wounds using a cell phone. The wound image is securely uploaded directly into the patient's electronic medical record where the clinician can attach the image to an initial consultation or wound progress report.

At any given time, almost six million Americans suffer from chronic, non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, poor circulation or other conditions. The CyberCare Wound Care program, a component of the Electronic House Call System, has been designed to assist clinicians in reducing the number of days to heal wounds by utilizing its comprehensive medical record to track patients from referral through discharge.

The mobile application is currently available for free on Google Play for Android based phones and for the iPhone at the Apple store. The application has been submitted for use on Windows based phones. The use of the application requires a contract with EncounterCare.

Andy Castellanos, CEO of Primary Wound Care Specialists, located in Miami, FL, said, "Sometimes the most elegant solution to a problem is something simple. The ability to take a quality wound picture using a cell phone whether the patient is at home or in a clinic allows us to be much more efficient in tracking the progress of the wound. Patients can notify us and take a picture to help us triage any problems with the healing process."

"The release of our mobile application for wound care is the first phase of moving our entire Electronic House Call platform to mobile devices," stated Chris Doherty Executive Vice President of CyberCare Health Network. "We expect to release the cell phone/iPad based version of the Electronic House Call before the end of the year. These additional applications will focus on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Heart Disease and Diabetes Management."
